Three Chinese warships arrived in Thailand’s Sattahip naval base yesterday, on the invitation from the Royal Thai Navy, as reported by the Global Times.
The ships will be docked at Sattahip naval base for a five-day goodwill visit.
The Chinese fleet includes Mianyang missile frigate, supply ship Weishan Lake and Harbin missile destroyer.
The Chinese ship “Harbin” welcomed a lot of visitors aboard who were also able to shake hands with Yuan Yubai (R), commander of the Chinese flotilla.
The ships are on their way back to China from an escort mission in the Gulf of Aden.
