Juan Sebastián de Elcano’ sails in Tenerife waters during a three-day port visit to Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands).
The ‘Juan Sebastián de Elcano’ is a training ship of the Royal Spanish Navy, which was built in 1927 in Cadiz, Spain.
This 87-year old ship, is a four-masted topsail, steel-hulled schooner. At 113 metres (370 feet) long, she is the third-largest Tall Ship in the world.
