The US Navy amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) sails through high seas of the Atlantic.
USS Mesa Verde Sailors and Marines attached to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU) are deployed within deployment under Bataan Amphibious Ready Group.
The ship is designed to deliver a fully equipped battalion of up to 800 Marines.
